Snorting like a pig,
wriggling his snout.
Fragrance of the food
therefore, befits his mouth!
Let's forget the fork,
molars meeting meat,
table manners fly
as he begins to eat!

Vixen saunters in,
lipstick laid on thick.
Lashes like a lawn,
he soon becomes transfixed!
Lips now meeting lips,
hands now near the fire,
passion swallows them,
as they seep in the mire!

Bitterness of heart,
blowing poison darts.
Woe betide the one
who ventures through their path!
Slippery as snakes,
landscape now is black,
waiting for the victim
whom they will attack!

Watch the lioness,
her extended claws.
Head so high
she cannot even see her paws!
Silence is her game,
offence is her call.
Does she know that pride
cometh before the fall?

Dust now rising high,
who the hell should care?
Pet hairs pricking toes,
for those who climb the stairs!
Washing on the floor,
bills which go unpaid,
turn the TV up,
I can't afford a maid!

Sales as advertised,
discount meets their eyes.
Calculated savings,
they may now surmise!
What's in it for me?
Rubbing of their hands,
Shallow are their friends
who truly understand.

Grass always looks green,
through your neighbour's fence.
Look at your own lawn,
to find the weeds are dense!
What a flashy car,
sitting in his drive,
wonder what he's paid,
and why he always smiles?

Seven real cruel companions.
Itching like a hungry louse.
Scratching at your back door,
underneath your floorboards,
all you have to do is keep them out!
