Extreme Makeover

You have either watched or heard of the television show, "Extreme Makeover," I’m sure. People who have suffered life changing tragedies are gifted with complete home and/or body makeovers; their names chosen from a list of many needy persons receiving this great surprise. The television show films daily scenes of the changes and after weeks of televised segments, the new "creation" is complete for the astonished and humbled recipient.

I’ve never had an extreme remodeling job done on my body or my house, but one day I will receive an extreme makeover. You will too if you are a believer in Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:51 "Behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep but all shall be changed! In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, a trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible. And we shall all be changed."

What a day to anticipate! One day we shall be changed into the likeness of our Lord. "We shall be caught up into the clouds." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

We will meet our Lord in the air and will be accepted into His company of saints and angels. What an eternal makeover! I’m looking forward to that day. Aren’t you?
