The Glory That Yet Awaits

Romans 8:18 “For I reckon that the sufferings of
this present time are not worthy to be compared
with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (KJV)

What will heaven be like for you?
O glorious day when our Savior we view.
No need for a key to our mansion up there.
For there’ll be no crime or fears or care.

We’ll meet Moses and Daniel on that blessed shore,
And all of the others in the Biblical score.
What a reunion with family and friends.
For eons of time that nevermore ends.

There is a key that awaits for us there;
The key to the Scriptures which God will make clear.
We know so little and understand less.
We’ll understand why, when our life was a mess.

What a surprise when God explains all.
The reason for trials when life took a fall.
The passing of loved ones so dear to our heart.
We’ll understand why and nevermore part.

Of course this is subject to receiving God’s grace.
By this we’re assured to look on Christ’s face.
All has been paid by God’s only Son.
By faith in His name, the victory is won.

I John 3:2 “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth
not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he
shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” (KJV)
