Adopted by God

Ephesians :5-6 “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children
by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted
in the beloved.” (KJV)

Praise God I am adopted into God’s own family.
Christ rescued me from Satan to be His eternally.
The day that I was born, I started out all wrong.
To prove that I’m a sinner didn’t take me very long.

You do not have to teach a child from God to go astray.
They lie and cheat by nature, that’s just the human way.
Christ said it’s in our nature from our father Lucifer.
Every child is born that way. It’s to that which I refer.

But Christ in love and mercy left behind His Father’s throne.
He rescued me from Satan to adopt me as His own.
God chose me as His child before the world began.
That’s why He sent His Son to complete this wondrous plan.

Now, the question I must ask, are you adopted too?
Have you trusted in God’s Son and believe His Word is true?
Our God, who cannot lie, invites all to come in.
That is why the Savior said, “Ye must be born again.”

John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (KJV)
