“Arise, My love, Me beautiful one, and come away. The winter is past... let Me see your face, let Me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.” - Song of Songs 2:10-11&14

Lord, how I ache to come away with You – to be with You where You are. It's so amazing to me to know that You long to see my face turned toward You, my voice lifted to Your ears. You call to me to come – what could keep me from You?! Because I know that You never change, I can also know that Your love for me will never change or fade no matter what I ever do or don't do. That fact moves me all the more to passionately pursue you and surrender all my life up as an offering of love to You. No matter how often I may mess up and need Your forgiveness, still I know Your face lights up every time You see me coming, every time You hear my voice. You never tire of me, but if I'm distracted from you for too long, You call out to me, “Come and talk with Me. Let Me hear your sweet voice. Turn your eyes to Me and let Me see your beautiful face. You are My bride and I love you.” Who could deny a request such as that? From the depths of my being I cry out, “Here I am! Heart and soul I'm Yours alone, oh God!”
