Why Hate Evil?
Blinds to the beauty of the Best of the best
Deafens to the music of divine invitation
Corrodes the heart with the acid of self
Contorts the mind with mundane matters
Careers the feet into potholes of defeat
Counsels the hand to handle, hug mischief
Causes the eyes to see only the natural
Makes a bed for you in Satan’s vineyard
Corrupts, controls, confuses, condemns
Pours poison into your river, fountain of life.
Steals precious jewels, hidden riches in your jar
Imprisons, deceives, lulls you to sleep amidst danger
Lures you to go back to your vomit like a dog
and be clobbered, damaged, burned again.



Ye that love the Lord hate evil."—Psalm 97:10.
