One day the heart decided
To go on a beautiful journey
Against the backdrop of Time.

It redefined all the emotions
Lost in the abyss of yesterday.
Pleased with its success
At having won back from time
What time had always stolen,
It plunged into the dreams of
Incredible and superlative moments.

It wondered whether Today
Would have been as appealing
Without the colors of Yesterday.
Perhaps all the emotions stored within
Would have been lost forever
If Time wasn’t recaptured.

The heart would have never felt
This incomparable joy with a mere existence.
In spite of the shades of pain
The gladness over rode any doubts.
To pour out all the sentiments from within
And set the heart free without any inhibitions.

Precious Time had given captivating moments
To be drowned into forever.
It had revamped the heart to understand
A new dimension of love stronger and powerful.
To hold within its confines a love so great.

A love built on the cornerstone of Yesterday
Standing firm against the winds of Today
And anticipating the glories of Tomorrow.
