I have walked thorny paths
Too weak to admire, to worn out to be admired;
Bleeding and with blistered feet too tired to walk
But this path led me to the door of your heart.

I found comfort in your embrace
I see silent joy in your eyes
I feel happy throbs in your breast
I am safe and happy in your love.
