Poetry
FORGIVEN
From the depths of despair, I cry out,
Only You, God, can take away my doubt.
Regret, guilt and shame are what I feel,
Grief and pain, but You can heal.
I repent, and turn away from my sin.
Viciously desperate, I invite You in.
Enter my heart, renew my mind.
Now I leave my past behind.
