Many of us have possessed the head knowledge of who God is, what He is like...through the reading of Bible and reference books...yes reference books are helpful tools for us ...reading Bible is definitely a crucial thing to know our God....strengthen what we actually believe in....when non-believers came and challenge us..we are able to show them our knowledge in God....YET....we need to also focus on the 'heart' ....not just the 'head'.

'Head' knowledge gives you the facts of God...
'Heart' knowledge gives you 'REAL experience' of what God is really like to you in a personal level.

For instance...some people experienced the mercy and grace of God so richly that you can't imagine they were such a scum, or outcast in the past....sometimes the more rebels they used to be, the more grace and mercy they experienced from God...the clearer they know about God's characters...

For some....they were not too rebellious in the past and when the time they received Christ, they still look like such a good person....for others...they might not see any big difference between their former life and the new life right now.....they can hardly distinguish the differences...

In this..I am not suggesting we should go on sinning and so that the glory of the Lord might shine through us more...NO NO...

But the truth still stands....

Sometimes we do not know a thing if we have not made a mistake....like young children or even adults....we learn more through making mistakes..don't we? When we experienced hardship, realizing we cannot handle the situation, then we cast our cares on God, totally relying on Him....and that moment is the moment God can shine through you, that God can perform His might in your situation....as long as we let go of our own situation and give the situation to Him....His light would shine in our situation and His might will be able to be shown....so we have to let Him.....

'Heart' experience is similar in that....we might need to learn through difficulty in order to experience the power and might of God....so that in our hearts...we know and we know that God exists, we know that we know that God is faithful and true.....with 'head' knowledge, all we can proclaim is whats in the Bible...but with 'heart' knowledge comes the testimony of our faithful and truthful God...and that's the different!!1
