Prayers
As my eyes become heavy
and sleep is oh so near
How can I not thank you
for your gift of this day?
How can I not come to you
and surrender any fears or stress
My heart is open
My soul yearns to be united with you
Sleep is calling
My eyes slowly close
Knowing you are holding
my heart and soul in your hands
