STRONGHOLDS



When the enemy comes to wipe you out,
Pull down the strongholds, stand and fight.
Take captive every thought and fear,
And loose it unto Christ who you hold dear.

No weapon shall prosper to the ones he loves,
God’s word is true he breathed it from above.
The sword and shield we must take up,
Jesus sweated blood as he took this cup.

He taught us how to watch and pray,
To wait for his returning on that final day.
The devil knows his time is almost here,
Our victory is certain no need to fear.

With a robe of white and fiery eyes
Out of the clouds, he’ll come from the skies,
A warrior coming to finish the fight,
Satan will face God’s power and might.
