Lingering silently in the shadow of my soul, he waits. He observes every emotion and every fear. He patiently anticipates the opportune time to attack. Then, in full vengeance, he flings at me every failure, every self-conscious tendency, every weakness, and every flaw. Seething in revenge he assaults every blessing, every prayer, and every God moment in my life. He seethes “You are nothing!”


I call out to God in my weakness, in my failures, in my self-conscious tendencies. I proclaim, “Lord, I am nothing without You!” I cry out to God for strength, for courage, for help. I lift my eyes up to Whom my help comes from. He raises me up above mine enemies. In victorious praise- I sing a love song to my Savior!
