The Author

Hi, I want to thank God for allowing me another opportunity to continue to share the gifts that Paul outlined in the book of Romans 12:6-8. Paul did an amazing job on explaining the gifts and what steps are needed to apply ourselves to function in that ministry. Paul outlined;

1. Prophecy- and we are to use it in proportion to our faith. I went in length to explain how in my last article.

2. Ministry- we are to wait on our ministry. I was led to write Waiting on God and Developing Ministry. However, Ministry is not only serving but it applies to the Deacons ministry, the music ministry, usher’s ministry, administration of the church where secretaries, finance department, procurement department, and video and audio department all fall under this ministry mentioned by Paul in Romans 12:7.

3. Teaching- is a gift that’s mentioned in Romans 12:7/ 1 Cor.12:28-30/ Ephesians 4:11

4. He who exhorts-is a minister who encourages people to be saved or live passionately for God. Similar to a motivational speaker (Romans 12:8)

5. He who gives-is a wealthy servant of God anointed to contribute his God given finances to support various ministries that God will direct him or her to donate.

6. He who leads-fall under the definition of a pastor, elder, or bishop.

7. He who shows mercy-is a man or woman of God who God called to minister to the weak, poor, homeless, battered and bruised women, orphans, the sick, and the prisoners. There may be a possibility that God may want them to establish a hospice, orphanage, home for abused women and ex-prostitution. A prison ministry and hospital visiting ministry.

The list of positions to function in the ministry is vast so there should be no excuse for not participating in any ministry. God will grant you an overwhelming desire or grant you a dream or vision or speak to you in an audible voice to participate in something.

Personally, I served as a carpenter/ handyman , a minister that laid hands on people so they may receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, divine healing, deliverance from demonic oppression, an intercessor prayer warrior; I’ve been given task like doorkeeper, coffee and pastry server, tithe collector, fundraiser, and bible teacher, I was asked to write teachings on controversial topics and bring clarity, I would write church ministry descriptions so that the believers may function like the ministers that Paul recommended based on their calling.

When I was sent to minister or host a Christian event I would pray and fast and God would come in the service with a powerful anointing to heal, deliver and bless His people.

I’m a maintenance worker with Common Ground a non-profit organization that caterers to the homeless and I minister to them by night. During the day I’m a licensed Construction Superintendent with the NYC Department of Buildings. I’m currently starting the 33rdst. #1 subway line overseeing the renovation taking place there.

I attend New York City College of Technology majoring in Construction Management and Facilities Management.

I would like to further give you an idea of who I am for the purpose of knowing this hidden author. I’m 44years young, 6’2 220lbs. Puerto Rican born in Brooklyn N.Y. and married with two kids and one on the way with my wife. However, I also have two more son’s Manny Jr. 26 and Herman 28.

The reason for not submitting a photo is because my wife does not want me to have any type of Facebook profile on any site Christian or not. I was told I resemble Ricky Martin. I never smoked used drugs or drank alcohol. No tattoos or piercings. I pump iron and do all kinds of workouts and supplement but when God says to stop and fast I drop it and consecrate myself deeply to be sensitive to His voice and used by His power.

I will be available soon for ministering abroad as the Spirit of God directs me. I’m home based and attend Harvest Fields with Pastor Michelle Torres in the Bronx. I’m also affiliated with Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn N.Y. with Pastor A.R. Benard and Deacon Joseph Brown.

I’m down to earth like Joyce Meyers I lay it out there sweetheart. As for pastors, I would love to fellowship and share the gospel I’m not to be placed on a pedestal only Jesus is. I’m not to be poked fun at because I believe in the supernatural. You need to be in the supernatural also because we serve a supernatural God. I believe in prayer and fasting before I move or go anywhere. See Acts 13:1-5. It still works today I’ve been practicing this since 1992 till today.

I wanted to teach on the gift of the Deacon but I guess I will do it tomorrow God willing. God just led me to write what I have written so there it is. May God bless you in Jesus’ mighty name.
