Faithful and True (Revelation ch.19)

In the clouds his appearance is bold,
His robe dipped in blood, with a belt of pure gold.

Engraved King of Kings and Lord of Lords,
The nations bow down as the Lion roars.

Many crowns are upon his head,
For the life he’s given and the blood he’s shed.

Eyes like fire that pierce and divide,
The nations scatter and the wicked hide.

Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword,
The armies of heaven are following the Lord.

He treads the winepress of God’s fury and wrath,
Their horses lay waste and destroy man’s path.

The Saints feasting as the Angels sing,
Honor and victory belong to our King.

No more sorrow and no more pain,
Satan is bound with a great chain.

We will reign with our lord in a future without past,
He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last.

Blessed be the name of the Lord most high,
So rejoice in your heart and look to the sky,

He is coming soon, this I know,
For the heavens declare as our times show.
