Faith

Faith is not a possession; it is a position taken in response to a spiritual offer (the seed gift from Father God- see Ephesians 2) of vision, of identity expanded or changed beyond the experiential. It is not an action of soul; it is released by permission of the determination of soul. [It is the soul’s responsibility before God to choose participation-submission and obedience-or rejection of the spiritual offer or instruction made.]
Hebrews 11’s Hall of Faith is not a values statement regarding those who walked by faith; it is a statement of those saying “Yes.” to God, allowing a spirit-walk observed along a flesh-path. It is the acknowledging of those walking after the Spirit, hearts receiving and through humility and submission responding in a way observable through ‘natural’ consequences and their response changes. It is not seeing an image in a mirror, turning and walking in remembrance of the fading image memory; it is rather following the cloud and the fire, moving when they move, stopping when they stop. It is always before them; they change by and through association to, submission to and communing with His cloud and His Fire. Faith is not a vision or a dream; these are used to focus or re-focus our hearts towards the faith-path of the cloud and fire; they assist in keeping us covered and sustaining us through the fire …seeing the Author and Perfector of our faith by the light of that very fire of purification. They represent God with us, God within us; our hope of glory.
