I might not have dealt with this topic the best way i could the last time it came under the title "When God Speaks", however, i come with it again to claim more souls for God through it.

We will use the scripture from the book of Acts chapters 1-8, and more specifically that part when the apostles have been arrested and the council of the Jews is brainstorming on how to quiet this new 'way' that had risen, since the 'men's' testimony had now gone throughout all Judea and the regions beyond.

I start by liking the fact that this 'way' was called the way even by unbelievers. In a sense, it was clear that things were happening for the church, yet the rulers of that time wanted to use their old 'way', since it benefited their egos; they were also worried about the time and distance they had covered in that way and so they looked into despising this apparent 'new way' which allowed virtually anyone who believed to walk through the gates of heaven with his head high.

The cry of a builder who builds where he was advised not to build! This was the dilemma these high priests and Pharisees were in, since they had built upon their own righteousness, yet there was a man who was coming with righteousness through faith such that everyone who believed could be saved. They themselves also needed to be cleansed of all that self-righteousness and put on that jacket of faith; so they cried foul of the work that they had done already. So they group together in that day, to put and end to this way.

Whilst they are doing so, one of them stands up. I presume he speaks not of himself, for in a mere man's heart, no such words are found! Words of praise and wisdom: "Men of Israel beware that you end up fighting God, i take it that if this is of God, it will last; yet if it be of men, it is of a certainity that it will come to nothing, like in the past!"

This is the right prescription for life. As for me, I am strengthened by these words, for they do nothing else than to give God the power and glory that he deserves. In no amount of stress or troubles can one fail knowing that God is the key to all these happenings around him. Nothing, whether big or small can happen on its own accord or anyone's for that matter; besides it be of God.

God the Father, i pray to you in the name of Christ the Son; since i am in the Spirit of Truth, i am convinced that none is above you nor is anything overlooked by your insightful eye. You are the best amongst whatever i have dealt with in the past. If i and my friends remember that you hold the keys to all our doors, we wouldn't be fighting you today by our impatient hearts that lead us to do our own actions, we would leave all our cares and burdens and power to you, for you are the God that healeth us. In Jesus Christ's name i pray, Amen!
