My lady friends tell me that good men are rare. They insist that many, some say all, men are liars, cheats, unreliable, fear commitment, dogs or unserious and the list goes on.

Allow me to pause and say this, I say sorry to all the ladies who have suffered at the hands of bad men. Anyone who will not see your value, appreciate all the sacrifices you make for them and love you back does not deserve you.

Maybe most of the men you’ve met disappointed you. Maybe you made poor choices yourself! Maybe you were no sure about what you wanted in a man and that’s why you never found it! All these maybes are in the past, you can still have a new start and a happy ending.

Good news! All good men are not taken. In every generation, God always has a remnant of people who have not defiled themselves. There are many wonderful men out there, but not just any woman will have them.

How To Get A Good Man:

# 1: Be a good woman

A good man deserves a good lady. And it takes a good woman to get a good man. What are you doing to become a better person? Can you communicate well? Do you have those qualities that you seek in a good man?

When you do your best to become a good woman, not a perfect woman, you are most likely to be noticed by a good man when you meet one.

# 2: Know the qualities of the good man you desire

You can never get that which you do no know. What are the basic qualities you want in a man? Do you want a godly man, a teachable man, a loving man? What are those qualities in a man you know you can’t handle? Write them down. And don’t make the mistake of searching for a perfect man, because there was only one such a man in history and he want to heaven to be with his father.

Be wise. And it’s better to give character, values, godliness of a man higher priority than fading things like money, houses, cars, or even the physical appearance.

# 3: Ask and trust God for the good man

No one in the world would love you to get a good man than God. If you are his child, then you can boldly present to him the qualities of the kind of man you desire in your life. God takes pleasure in giving good gifts to those who ask him.[1]

“Trust in the Lord and do good. Take delight in the Lord and he will give you your heart’s desire. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him and he will help you.”[2]

# 4: Wait for your good man

At this point, it’s time to wait. This is the place where most women give up and choose to fight for themselves instead of waiting on God. Don’t settle for less. Keep your hands empty to receive the good God has prepared for you.
Determine to wait for your good man. When he comes, he will make you forget all the days you waited for him. God makes everything beautiful in its time.[3]

“For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait on him.”[4]

There is a good man out there for you, will he find you ready when he comes!
