What Did You Prayer For On This National Day of Prayer

As the cacophony of celebration and protest dies off, the National Day of Prayer comes to a close. Did you participate? Have a moment of silence?
If there was ever a time that calls for a day where citizens come together and seek guidance, wisdom, and intervention from an Almighty God, it is now. You don't have to be a regular subscriber to The Signs Daily to see that there is unprecedented global change happening on a daily basis. Often these events happen so quickly that I can hardly comment on them. Many don't need comment, they speak for themselves.

Turmoil in the Middle East is bringing about revolutionary changes and alliances between enemies millennium old. The countries that you should be keeping your eyes on are Russia, Iran, Libya, Syria, Pakistan, The Palestinian territories (which will soon become under one head, now that Hamas and Fatah have reached an agreement), and Egypt. Watch and see how these countries become more involved in diplomatic ties, trade agreements, and military alliances.

The sudden rash of natural calamities also bears witness to events foretold of in the Bible. Earthquakes, tornadoes, droughts and floods of epic proportions plaguing every part of the world affecting every aspect of life. Famine is rampant, and new versions of old viruses are being discovered. Not to mention the comet that threatens to rearrange the earth's magnetic poles next year.

Economies are failing and empires are toppling largely due to internal conflicts and lack of good leadership, greed, and self-preservation (do unto others before they do unto you.) Mass apostasy looms ever near as we, not only as Christians, but as moral, ethical human beings allow perverse thought and behaviors to permeate our society with filth, all in the name of Freedom of Speech.

So then, what did you pray for? I hope that some of you prayed for our leaders - ALL leaders, not just your countries. Did you pray for Divine Intervention, for God to come out of the sky and wipe the slate clean, an do-over? Did you pray for your pastor, your church? That's a big one. Did you even pray? Did you at least have a moment of silence in hopes that, somehow, someway we, as humanity, will find our way back from the brink of lawlessness and blasphemy.

National Day of Prayer? We should be doing that every day. What we need is a national day of repentance. We cannot avoid the coming End of Ages, nor the ensuing tribulations. God has warned us. But He also says that those who are His will be saved. Are you saved?
