Can lungs forget to breathe
  or hearts forget to beat?
They may, even to perishing,
   yet a father will never forget the son he loved.
Doing so, such a man would offend himself to
    his own shame.
 
He rightly honors his son’s memory,
   as grief continues as a witness to the beauty
     of the one who came from his flesh.
