1 Peter 5:8
8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Constant troubles bombard your life and efforts and you seem to be pursued by indefinite unending ill luck, mysterious myriad of problems, woes and tribulations

Are you in a state of limbo as to what is happening and what to do?
Before now you thought you had it so good, suddenly this came, things changed and you still do not understand how it degenerated so fast to this point, within the twinkling of an eye.

Marriage crashed on you? Are your children misbehaving and acting rebellious? Do you have sudden career woes and even been demoted, fired, retrenched or sacked for no just cause? Have you suddenly gone into debt that is inexplicable? Have former friends suddenly become overnight foes? Your little empire that you have taken years of toil and turmoil to build towards pension years suddenly came crashing around you?
'oh, woe is me! The devil has finally struck and succeeded in destroying my efforts!

I have news for you today that contrary to what you have always thought, NOT ALL PROBLEMS ARE THE DESIGN OF OUR ARCH ENEMY; he just ends up playing into God's plan for our lives (remember ALL His thoughts for us are of good not evil)!

In certain situations and steps in life, we deviate and take a wrong turn(without realizing it), this ROAD SEEMS SMOOTH AND IT IS BROAD filled and lined with all the goodness of life and ALL OUR WANTS.(God knows that our WANTS ARE NOT NECESSARILY what we NEED). This sure is a joyride and we become euphoric and are continually happy with God for being so good

Even brethren use us as a point of contact for PRAYERS as good examples of TRUE AND BLESSED WORSHIPERS who have a good relationship with the Lord (Not the JOB type, who must have sinned to get such a portion as his)!


God truly loves His and He is determined to save us from certain death

He is truly a good and GREAT GOD.....'O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57
When on that easy road to peril and destruction and which is sure to end in eternal death, he takes some drastic steps just because HE LOVES US SO MUCH

God often has to practically drag some of us from the path that we have embarked upon otherwise when He whispers in the still small voice, we REJECT and BIND the devil as our distracting factor and detractor at that point!

1 Samuel 2:7-8
7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich : he bringeth low , and lifteth up .
8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.


Some of us need to be dragged away, though struggling and looking back (like Lot's wife) with flailing arms screaming to go back, Help, don't take me away, that is my whole life, best thing that ever happened to me, without it am nothing!
Uhn.....uhn!....pray tell, who knows better? WITHOUT HIM (JESUS) AM NOTHING (more like it)

1 Chronicles 4:9-10
9And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.
10And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

The situation that seems to overwhelm you at the moment could be the way of the Lord trying to get your attention in another way after trying so hard in gentler ways but you disregarded and paid no attention for so many reasons.

God is telling you that you need to re-route and change direction from this highway to hell and He as a refiner's fire is polishing you to perfection for the kingdom's sake.

Do not reject the days of humble beginnings says the word of God, ask God in prayer, after you have prayed several prayers of deliverance and help from above but it seems the situation persists, ask the Lord for the lesson in the troubles, ask for strength to remain standing whilst He breaks and remolds you to His specification for heaven's sake.

When you get to that point in which you begin to appreciate what you previously regarded as doom and you look back and you actually praise and thank God for HIS GOODNESS and WONDERFUL WORKS because from 'this' standpoint, you have a clearer picture of past events, then you have reached where HE WANTS YOU TO BE!

This adversity is indeed a blessing
