Sometimes the world tries to consume us.
Tearing us from the Father's side.
It's time to stop and get directions.
And to our Savior, run and hide.

How some pains bring on the darkness.
Seeming to push it deep within.
Where Jesus reigns, the clouds can't gather.
Because in Him, the pain can't win.

A storm is just a passing shadow.
Just a cloud to spoil the sun.
I will not fret, I will not worry.
Cause it will shine when the day is done.

If I should leave this earthly portal.
Without a doubt, I will see His face.
My sins are removed, they have no total.
For I am living in my Savior's grace.
