When my life on earth is over,

and my journey here is done.

Will I look back upon my life,

and be happy with what I’ve done?


Or will my heart fill with regret,

for the things I didn’t do?

I do not want to end my days,

thinking I’m not through.


I’ll start right now, figure out,

what really matters to me.

I’ll tell the ones that I hold dear,

how much they mean to me.


I’ll live each day as if it could,

be my very last.

Take joy in every day and,

let go of the past.


Help me, Lord to find,

Your will in life for me.

So that when I leave here,

I’ll wake in Heaven with Thee.


Life here is uncertain,

it could end this very day.

Help me make a difference,

dear, Lord I pray.
