I Need Thee

My thoughts are restless
My heart cries out
Questions echo through my mind
I reach out to you Oh, Great Father
Help me to make the right choices
To discern good from evil
Lead my feet upon the right path
Treading each footstep in your loving way
Help me to be an example of you
So others will see your goodness in me
Lead me so that I may never be
A stumbling block to my people
Oh, Great Father shape me
That I may be a devout soul
Walking in your steps.
