Phil. 3:13, 14
Warfare is what we must encounter in the journey
of life. Our strength should be directed at
winning the battles. The greatest battlefield of
a man is the heart. If you lose the battle of the
mind you may definitely not have good news to
tell. Every attack is against the heart. At every
point in time there is a war going on in the
mind. Most times and virtually all of the times,
God will refuse to remove these battles from your
mind. He will however teach you how to overcome
them.
To overcome this battle, you must make praying a
life style. In the process of praying you do not
lose your mind. Pray intelligently. The heaven is
loaded ready to release blessings from heaven
open you, the only barriers could be you. The
capacity and the content of his heart determine
the story of the life of a man. The quality of
your mind is determined by the quality of the
words of God you carry. Your beauty is not on the
outside but on the inside- your heart. Everything
that set a man up is in the heart. Everything
that pulls a man down is also in the heart. If
you can’t win the battle of your mind, you will
lose every other battle.
A winning mind is the quickened mind, a seasoned
mind. John 6:63. Constantly season your mind with
the word of God to ensure it won’t go out of
hand. Keep your spirit alive by a constant life
of worship to God. You can’t be a word addict and
still lack insight to the classified solutions to
the situations of life. The word of God sharpens
you mind. Rub your mind with the greatest mind
behind the scriptures, the mind of Jesus. Luke
8:28, when the possessed man saw Jesus he
immediately knew he carried something.
When there is something concrete in you, you will
draw attention to yourself. What you need is an
understanding that is greater than what is
obtainable outside. The winning mind is an
excited mind. Gen.13: 14. You need a mind that is
lifted above sorrow and pity – “ fixed upon the
Lord â€. Until your mind is lifted you will not
see well. Your attitude determines your altitude.
Your future is what you make of your ‘now’. Let
nothing keeps your spirit down.
Your outlook determines your outcome, which
literally means that it is not the condition that
matters, it is the outlook. Let nothing keep your
spirit down from seeing well with the eyes of the
spirit. The winning mind is the seeing mind. The
destination you can’t see you can’t get to. If
your imagination can affect your emotions, your
feelings your character and your mood, then it
must definitely have the ability to affect your
position. Impossibility and possibility exists in
the mind. God told Abraham, “You must see what
others can’t see. †Heavy eye brings close mind.
Your power is in your focus.
A winning mind sees impossibility. The
environment from which you are viewing a thing
determines the color of the thing. Locate
yourself in God’s word and from that perspective,
view your life, and you will see how possible
your dreams are. What you focus on have the
ability to over shadow your mind and testimony.
You need to see correctly to get things correctly
and have the wrong things corrected.
