I will lift my eyes looking unto the summit,
From where my help shall come plummet;
My help comes from God the one true Lord,
Making of Heaven and earth love outpoured.
Sometimes when we feel so down and out,
In our hearts we start raising much doubt;
Entering into such a dark depth of despair,
Never even taking it to the Lord in prayer;
You are looking for hope, a ray of light,
A glittering promise of power and might;
Swooping down from the mountain peak,
Like an eagle seeing prey that it seek;
As with superman in coming to my aid,
I am reassured of nothing to be afraid;
Your know for the true Lord is our God,
Able to count on Him for He is no fraud;
The creator of the earth, all that resides,
Guiding us through as within, He abides;
As you continue through a life of stress,
Remember that God is ready to bless.
