Whilst writing this article, i was overflowing with wisdom that poured from God. The hard thing was that i had two topics that where in contention; pouring to my mind. The perfect plant, what is it?

I take this from the parable of the seed and the sower, where Jesus Christ talks about the seed that fell amongst thorns. When we look at this text, it seems thorns are simple thorns which anyone can notice all the time, but this is not so.

Many times we allow things to crowd up our space that really, through much of the time, do not wrestle us as to the work we do for God. We forget that we have to be prepared even for the fruitful times, the time that most thorns affect our growth, strength and produce.

When we look at Television, Radio, jokes, music; these are things that can use up our time nicely as part of leisure, without adding much to our Christian value though, such that when we come to the point of production, we are clustered by these things that we fail to overcome. When times call for seriousness, it becomes hard to find time for God because we have all these things pressing us in.

Whilst you're choosing what to do and what not to do, choose wisely! Do not let the young glamors grow with you; when in fact they sprung out their thorns when your fruits come. Take what benefits your fruit and completely leave what does not; remember, what does not harm now, may harm tomorrow. Good day. In Jesus Christ's Name. Amen!
