During our lives, there comes a time when you wonder, is this all there is in life? People for centuries have pondered this question. Through the ages of humanity great battles determine where people would live and have defined how they live in the aftermath of war. Many conquering conquests drove people from their homelands, some into exile other into concentration camp and onto reservations. In the 19th and 20th centuries, mechanized industry defined ingenuity and propelled humanity into an expeditious expansion of consumer driven value chain. All in all these actions was a result of power and control not love. Sure men love to kill others in war. They are thrilled with the fact of herding peoples and livelihood into an existence of hopeless despair. The enjoyment of telling women what to and how to wear shoes, clothes and hair. As we see, women in public acted acceptable. Of course outside of the house was a different matter. Inside the home, it might have been man’s kingdom but in his right mind, the women ran the show. Power and its Control over people mattered.

However, where is the Love? Yes, we stand at the wedding altar, saying vows and on special occasions, we bring the right things to express our sense of appreciation. Did the Jews love exile or concentration camp? Did the Africans love the middle passage, on the way to slavery? Did the French people love Napoleon? Are the women of the Middle East able to illuminate, their beauty when walking outside that God so richly gave them? The magnitude of such actions fails to grasp the heart of God.

Grasping God’s heart is loving-kindness towards each other. The greatest law, given by God drives us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. I look around and ask where love is? There is no love for the teacher and civil workers, cutting the State and Federal budgets by sacrificing unions for political gain is not love. To reduce State and Federal debit is through raising Taxes and reducing spending. By raising personal taxes on the rich and not corporation tax eliminates business reprisal to increase prices on the population for goods and services. By reducing the health care apparatus (doctors, lab fees, health insurance, and drugs), cost, aligns major health care entitlement programs. You must remember we need air, food, and water to survive, not money.

The way to relief a sin-entangled soul, is through God alone. Until we address our insensible guilt of sin, any attempt to remedy the relief of oppression, money, sex, and power over the weak is in vain. We are to humble ourselves before God, not man or women, for we are guilty in God’s sight.

Therefore, go and give love so God can bless you in return. The only motive and encouragement for sinners is this, that there is forgiveness with the Lord.
