The heart sings its sweetest song
When it soars in delight
In total abandonment of joy
Wishing the days of love will never end.

The heart weeps its saddest tune
When it cries in immense pain and silence
At words stifled and bottled up
And love never expressed.

The heart throbs in sweet ecstasy
And resonates in pure bliss
When it loves a thousand times
In just a single moment.

The heart lives its moment
Of vulnerability and anguish
When it loves to the extreme
Where it actually hurts.

The heart makes and bends its rules
When it writes its own awesome love story
And soulful poem in words inexplicable
But magical in its own way.

The heart reasons and justifies
Its every action in accordance with love
At times when it cannot comprehend
The mysteries enfolded so deep.

The heart clasps its emotions
And keeps its safe within its beats
Infusing life with the full knowledge
That the very pulse of the heart is Love.
