Lord help me save that man,
Lord let me grasp that hand,
Let my grip be firm and true,
So that he may know you to.

Out form the foaming seas,
Savior bring him unto thee,
The tool of your hand is me,
But Lord it is you he must see.

Lord time is running low,
The grave swallows all we know,
Lord please let him truly see,
The blessings of a life with thee.

Lord it is your command,
That I go and seek this man,
Grant me now the words to say,
To save a dying soul I pray.

Lord you have saved this man,
Lord you have grasped his hand,
Let your grip be firm and true,
Now that he will serve you too.

Lord with you now we stand,
Hands grasping in your hand,
A brother have I gained this day,
And safely with you will we stay.
