THE SOUND OF SINGING

Comes spring the sound of singing
Is upon the earth
Sweet spring
This rejoicing will never end
For the cycle of life will begin again.

My song was lost in winter’s cold
Along the seaside of growing old
A whisper in the night
Come on, SING
Talk to him, be bold

Death cannot touch me for it is spring
Living things are re-newed
Over and over again
I’m alive
Waiting to sing

“Oh God, please help me make it until spring
So I can see the birds on wing
Now I must sing loudly
I must be heard”

Open those lungs
My heart says ‘death stand still”
I will sing loud and long
Please, My Father let it be your will

Renew me Lord, I pray
Let me live another day
For another spring is on the way
Renew me, Lord I pray
