Let’s Get Our Mind Right
And Let’s Keep It Right

If God was to shake his lap now who would hold on? In the time we live in we can look and see that man’s religion is no longer pure towards God as it should be.

Righteousness is of necessity and always is the basis of the idea of righteousness is conformity to a standard of perfection. As an attribute of God it signifies holiness, justice, and right doing. When applied to man, righteousness signifies the possession of the Christian virtues, faith, hope, and charity; a life which conforms to the divine law. God’s righteousness will be ours if we do the Ten Commandments; living a life which conforms to the divine laws of God. We are to observe to do all that God tells us to do in His Holy Word. We are to walk upright and work righteousness and speak the truth in our hearts. We won’t allow ourselves to be called backbiters because we have no desire to speak evil with our tongues. That means we will not do evil to our neighbors or take up a reproach against them. We will keep our hands clean of confusion. We strive to do right at all times because treasures of wickedness profit nothing.

The righteousness of a person shall direct their way. It shall deliver them if they remain upright. We are promised a sure reward if we continue to sow righteousness. As righteousness tends to life so he that pursues evil pursues it to his own death. The fruit of righteousness is a tree of life and he that wins souls is wise. Malachi 4:2 but unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings.
Jesus said that our hearts are to be pure. Solomon said every word of God is pure in Proverbs 30:5. Jesus speaking and teaching in Matthew 5:8 said blessed are the pure in heart. Paul teaching to the Church at Philippi in Philippians 4:8 to them, finally brethren whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things is just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of a good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise think on these things. Those things which ye have both learned and received, and heard, and seen in me, do; and the God of peace shall be with you.

Too many Christians have lost contact with who it is they are to reverence and serve. Many have reverential fear of man but not God. Many is serving man rather than God. All of their motives and intents in their actions and words is for their own personal gain. It’s time we get our minds right and keep them right; stayed on Jesus. We can only love like God loves out of a pure heart. Timothy talked about charity in our use and end of the law, which is the love we have for the commandments of God. This is how we keep our hearts pure, by doing what is right and honorable before God. We can only do this he says out of a pure heart and of a good conscience and of faith unfeigned. Unfeigned means we are not pretending but the love is true, real. The love we have for God should be pure so that we will not leave God no matter what happens in our lives. The one thing we have to hold on to is that God is there no matter if anyone else is or not. We have to hold on to what we know of God when things come to take us out of the race. Obedience to God cause us to do right in the world, keeping all the laws of man. Titus said it like this in Titus 1:15 unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure, but even their mind and conscious defiled.

Many profess to know God, but in works they deny Him being abominable and disobedient and unto every good work reprobate. No matter what we do someone will find fault or something wrong with it. So now what we need to do is please God and don’t worry about what man think about your works. God said man is never satisfied. If God was to shake his lap, who would hold on? We should be keeping our minds clean and pure before God. Defiled thinking comes along when we cross the line from holiness to sin; even our speech is soiled, filthy. We emit a foul odor in our lifestyle not really realizing that we have become impure, defiled. When we put our hands to things we should not we are defiled with blood on our hands. We are worse than Cain who slew his brother Abel. When we allow things to go into our temples that we know should not then we are guilty of destroying God’s Temple. We are not our own, we have been brought with a price. Our whole bodies belong to God.

James 1:27 pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep himself unspotted from the world. We boast of ourselves and we don’t treat people right. We could care less about what they don’t have as long as we have what we want. Another thing is we will take from someone else in need to have those things we want. As long as they can help us they are okay. We will not help someone else along the way for they are looked at down our noses. Many seem religious but forgot to learn to shut up. They will say anything to look good just like unlearned people that have not been taught to speak. We show forth ignorance and deceive no one but ourselves. Our speech betrayed us but also our thoughts are vain. So now our thinking is off. If God was to shake his lap today, who will hold on and not fall?

Pure religion is undefiled. Pure relationship with God is one that is true. God is only moved by truth. We cannot fool God as we do man. We have to be pure in our worldly relationships as it pertains to the flesh. There is still war going on in the mind that messes up the thinking of man. The Spirit wants to purify or clean the mind and heart of man. The flesh doesn’t want man to be loosed from the satanic pleasures of the world. The Devil wants man to continue to be bound to his satanic powers. He roams to and fro seeking who he can deceive. Satan still tries to come up against God by using man. Jesus overcame Satan in the flesh that we too would have a perfect example of one that is a conqueror. We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus now. Satan was bruised under the feet of Jesus and as Romans 16:20 says, and the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, Amen.

Without Jesus there would be no Acts and without Acts there would be no Paul to write to us of the acts of Jesus Christ that was taught to him personally by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus will show up on time, in time, and with time if we want Him. We have to be careful of our relationship with God. In the relationship God gave more and still today is a giver. We are to give God his due. He doesn’t ask much of us.
Our union with God is destined but it’s not our destination we worry about; but the right now. This relationship with God and man is a united effort; if we do, God will and if we do not God won’t. A sacrifice must be made on our part to come up to God’s level. He has already made the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus to come down to the Earth and bring us back up to Him. The rest is on us. We can have our destined Mansion in Heaven or we can go through the lake of fire and be chained up for eternity in Hell.

It’s time we practiced righteousness here in the Earth. God’s righteousness takes us to Heaven where all is righteous. If we can’t get it right down here in the Earth we definitely don’t want it in Heaven because without the righteousness of God reigning in our lives we won’t get to Heaven. We can do nothing in and of ourselves. The Earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof, the world and all that dwells therein. God knows those that are His. Jesus is His, what about us? The (I) in the middle of sin must die in our lives. It causes us to glance away from the lover of our soul. It tells us that we want, we need, I want, I need, I have to have it, I will do this or I will do that, I shall see then, I don’t want to see. We can be very confused when sin reigns in our lives. God is not the author of confusion, so where does the spirit of confusion come from and why would we want it?

We are no longer pure. Our love for God has been tainted, polluted, and distorted. Because the falling away has not been realized by the masses they think they are still in good relationship with God. The United States of America as long as we were a country united against sin we prospered. When they began to except lifestyles contrary to God, so willingly through birth control limited the reproduction of life, denying to live holy, took prayer out of the schools, and now disrespecting the leadership of the Country; we are a Nation defiled. When a Nation takes God out of the equation of life they are on the verge of destruction. For many years now God has sent forth deliverance to our Country to no effect. It was a vow He made to himself not to destroy his Creation again, but they can go into bondage under a hard taskmaster.

Budha does not live in America, but Voodoo does and that’s still a false God. If God shake his lap today who will hold on?
