Letter from my Father

Dear Son,

How are things with you? You know I am aware of your situation there and it is constantly on my mind, your wellbeing that is. I wish I could send for you now , but I know that you coming home now would prevent you from doing the work I sent you there to do. Just know you are constantly on my mind and I long for the day you will come home!
Here is an update on the arrangements I have made for you when you get home. I have had a mansion built for you, you should see it, it is one amazing picture of craftsmanship. Oh, I know you would have liked to build it yourself, but in a sense you have. I have watched you work where you are and have instructed my most proficient craftsmen to build this mansion based on the dedication and quality of work you are doing there. And I knew you would , I was proud of you from the beginning, even when you got tired and unmotivated, I saw your heart, your passion for my work, and my heart was filled with love for you! So your work there has translated into more then you could imagine here.
As I was saying, your mansion is nearing completion and it is one awesome place. It is a big stone structure, but not cold looking, it is more of a soft glow of warmth to it. But it stands five stories tall, huge pillars hold up five levels of balconies at different locations around the building. It has towers at each corner all topped with golden roofs. The pillars are covered in gold and have rings of diamonds around them. Big windows all around let in a constant glow of light that falls on the beautiful hardwood floors. Rich carpets lay on the floors and I have had the most ornate furnishings placed in all the rooms.
Pools and fountains fill the courtyards, the grass is lush and green and I have planted huge beds of flowers, even hanging gardens that fall down from the balconies all around. All sorts of trees, blooming and green spread out over your estate. I had a small lake placed at the edge of a grove of fir trees, and on one side a magnificent willow sways in the light breezes. Fish of many kinds have been introduced to the lake, and I even had a small sailboat made just for you.
Oh, lest I forget, it has an Olympic size pool for you to enjoy with your friends, course there are so many rivers and lakes in this place you hardly lack for places to swim. Speaking of which, this estate is surrounds by lush green hills speckled with the beauty of the wildflowers. The higher places are covered in groves of firs and cedars, and high up in the peaks of distant mountains is the serene picture of freshly fallen snow.
But not to worry, it never drops below seventy degrees in this place and never rises above seventy five. The water is always warm to touch, but when you bring it to your mouth to drink it, it becomes cool and refreshing. Lots of food to, you’ll love the food!!
I also took the liberty of arranging for you to have , at your beck and call, a large number of some of the most majestic horses in my kingdom. All you have to do is call for them and one of them can be at your side in a moment. There lots of fun to ride, believe me I have ridden them myself, and look forward to many long rides together.
I look forward to standing on the bluffs, overlooking the sea, and listening to the sound of the waves, while watching the joy on your face. I look forward to walking with you through the gardens and sitting in one of your beautiful courtyards, all the time in the presence of your friends. You better believe there is room for them to, I would not have built all this just to have you alone. And, while I look forward to spending time, just the two of us, in conversation, I most certainly am looking forward to meeting your friends and watching you enjoys their company in this awesome place.
Well, I could never begin to describe this place in a way that you could fully comprehend, but just believe me it is everything you could ever want or desire. You will be amazed at the transformation it has on you, the perfection you and your friends will become, talk about a perfect body, wow, you cannot even imagine what I have seen.
Like I said, I wish you could come home now but that would mean sacrificing friendships you have yet to make and relationships you have yet to build. Besides your mansion is not complete yet. And know this for sure, every work you do for Me where you now are, adds a great amount more detail and glory to your future home!
Keep being faithful to My name, son! I don’t expect perfection I only expect your best. And most of all never, never, quit growing in my ways. The day you become content in your own wisdom is the day your mansion begins to decay. You must keep up the forward motion, the work to become more like Me, to fight off the adversary. You need not have him described, you know him well, he lives all around you. My son, I plead with you, do not heed to the voices of the people around you, do not become comfortable in your surroundings. Do not attempt to build a mansion there, if you do I will be forced to give your mansion to another and that would break my heart. You are to work now, I will reward you with everything you desire, but you must wait till you get home! I plead with you son, do not try to become comfortable there, comfort will transition into contentment, contentment into weakness, weakness into apathy, and apathy into death. Not the death that brings you home, but the death that takes you from me.
Be strong, my son, I have confidence in you, see I have already constructed your mansion, I will never lose my faith in you, I have known your strength from the day you were born. Remain faithful, keep my face before you, know your there to work, and save your comfort till you are home at last!
I love you with all my heart, my son, and I long for your embrace!
