"Through you we push down our foes; through your Name we tread down those who rise up against us. For not in my bow do I trust, nor can my sword save me." Psalm 44:5-6

“They surrounded me on every side, but they died out as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the Lord I cut them off. They swarmed around me like bees, but they died out as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the Lord I cut them off. I was pushed back and about to fall, but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” Psalm 118:11-14

They want to get rid of us
The Kingdom of Heaven affects their plans
They have tried much to empty my life
But their plans have been to our advantage
Because it allows us to see the Greatness of the Kingdom—
They don’t like us very much because
We told them that their path would clash with our Government (Heaven’s)
They deny the Crucifixion so we will always be at odds with them

They will continue to try and work me out
But the Word of the Lord remains true—
Our comfort comes from knowing that Jesus Christ is Lord

Their plan is set but Yahweh’s Plan stands
Our enemies dislike us but I know that
Yahweh wants us to pray for our enemies—
Our Lord controls the situation and so
We stand and face my enemy even though
They are so deceptive—
We call on the Name of the Jesus
Because He is my Saviour

They will continue to try and work us out
But the Word of the Lord remains true—
Our comfort comes from knowing that Jesus Christ is Lord
