When Jesus Christ was under siege from the Jews, he knew that what was to be decided by the Jews, Pilate and Herod; whatever it was, was just a fulfillment of the Spirit's prophecy that had been made by the prophets.Even when Pilate thought that he had the power to hand him over or release him, Jesus Christ knew that Pilate was as weak as everyone else. It was the will of his Father, our God, who could do or not do.

In today's world, we've got to attack those who think they have any power to overcome what is meant for us by God.Even when Peter was pulling the disciples to work the work of the Lord, the Chief Priests thought that heavy words could change the disciples hearts, but it didn't. Rather, Peter said, "We must obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29).

One blogger said, "In a conflict of loyalties and interests, God's will must prevail over unjust commands of earthly leaders." We cannot continue being named names that we are not. We are not stubborn, we are not rude, we are not insubordinate, we are just listeners of God NOT men. We are an elect, and therefore we must follow God and not men.

Good thing that Jesus mentioned it before His death that we ought to suffer reproach for being obedient to Him. As for us, We shall serve and never tire!!!

What the world wants us to think is that we are here or there in front of them to ask for forgiveness, or mercy, or favor; nah nah nah! we have it already in the Most High God, we need none from men. In fact we cannot accept such mockery, to have favor in men for what we believe in.

When we stand before men; like when Jesus Christ stood before Pilate, like Peter and the apostles before the Priests, we look for prophecy to be fulfilled, and when its done, we say "It's Finished", we "Rejoice on our way, knowing that we have suffered for his worthy name" Shame on you world!!!
