“The Beloved Son”



It has been about twenty years of sharing the same roof above our heads.

It has been about four years that we could have shared a meal in each others company.

It has been about four years as well, when we could talk and talked through the night without any disruptions.

Talking as it should be, between a father and a son, straight but filled with compassion, caring, love and respect.

And with all those beautiful attributes of talking, I could say, I am a Beloved Son…and so as all of us.



And while I was pondering and living in it, in this father & son relationship of mine, I have felt God’s Beautiful smiles on us. God Is so good. He Has Chosen my earthy father so I could be chosen as well to be my father’s beloved son. And His!

How many months we had to wait to see each other again, counting the days and the hours for the perfect time when I can be hugged and told…How you doing my son?

God Has Led us to be together again even if it was for a short while but however more importantly, we both are “a beloved son” being Fathered by God.



“Jesus had the Heart of a Son…knew himself to be the Son, felt very much like a (Beloved) Son, looked on God as “Abba” his dear Father, lived in a Father-Son relationship. The divine relationship Son-Father filled his human heart; it was his secret, his joy; a constant awareness; a basic attitude that determined his behavior.”
