MY LOVE

Let me touch upon all my loves
I’ve had many loves in my life
My all time love is Jesus,
The one who died for me and set me free
He said, Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest

It is because of him, my best friend Jesus
That I can enjoy all the beauties of his creation
I am sincerely convinced that he created this earth for me
For you must know that half the time it’s green

Then there’s my special love, my life long mate
That one I met a long time ago
Actually it was on a blind date
I’ve been in love with him forever and a day
He holds my hand and kisses my tears away

In a wedding bliss
We became Mr. & Mrs.
God filled our world with special things
Like a home, and a car
Beautiful girls and beautiful boys

He gave to me 4 girls and 1 boy
They multiplied and became more
Now I’m a grandmother
And a great
I have to be a little quiet
Or I will surely tell my age

Now let me tell you about MY CRAZY LOVE
I’m in love with the color green
All the beauty of green
Makes my heart speed to a perfect rhythm of Gods creation

No questions ask
This earth was created for me
It was his easy task
Speak and it happens
Say and it becomes

Just a glimpse of green,
makes peace explode all over my body
It’s like a shade of tranquility
has been poured from a spout
It touches me
Then I know what love is all about

On this day, May first, 2006, I had experienced
The joys of green more than ever
I was driving back into town after a day in the country, camera in hand,
Trying to capture the perfect pics
was my endeavor
My camera could not capture this,
no, not ever

The sun was setting in the West,
A photographers dream
Was this a test? I wonder
No, the answer has to be no
That great light brings peace
To a photographers finger
Joy on top of joy
Bouncing and lingering

My eyes were invaded with light
The greatest light of the two
It’s like the earth became brand new
That big round ball, created at the first dawn of the fourth day
Every thing perfect in every way
This sun-set would surely bring on the night
Then I would see the lesser of the two lights

Sparkles of diamond lights were exploding
Through the silver lining of each white fluffy cloud
If I could only capture this scene with a snap
Then I realize, not ever,
Never in a million years, never
It had to become a mind wrap

Please green eyes, take it in, take it all in
I watched the color scheme as it blended
Purples, greens, blues, pinks, whites
From heaven to earth it ascended
All the colors God created were
bouncing up and down
Inside the valley
Each tree holding the stillness of the moment
Oh how I wish I could be a tree
Then those colors would bounce off me

Time stood still, I let the sun-set invade me
My camera dangling at my chest
Guess I would have to go home and rest
Me and my camera gave up and headed on home
I guess that sunset would have
to stay in the memory of me
I parked my old Thunderbird in the shade
And headed in to get some good old ice tea

I threw my hands in the air and gave up
That sunset was still calling me
I grabbed my glass of tea
Ran out my back kitchen door
Realizing that I must finish watching
the sunset Before it was over

I pulled up my favorite lawn chair
Took off my shoes
Wiggling my bare feet in the grass
Letting each green blade caress my toes
My heart stilled
My passion fulfilled

My world stood still as I watched the sun turn into a firey red ball
Drifting slowly toward a fall
I cupped my face in my hands
Praying the springtime prayer

Oh My Father, I thank you
for making all things new
I thank you for the flowers and the trees
And the earth and the wind with the breeze
I thank you for the bees and the butterfly's
But most of all for your Son Jesus
Who gives precious life with so much ease

I watched that firey red ball
Disappear down behind the trees
Taking my breath away
Breathing Gods wonderful fresh air
The passion of it all
Is beyond compare
Then I realized this is the perfect ending
to a perfect day
Please My Father God; make my life stay this way

Genesis 1:14-19 "Then God said, 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth'; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night.
