IT WON’T BE LONG

When worry like a mighty wind
Comes against your soul to crush,
Like a mom handing out a dish
Give it over to the Lord.

Move on, move on,
For it won’t be long
He that promised will come.
Again I say, move on.

When fear engulfs your heart,
As a child runs to his Dad,
Go under the cover
The Lord has provided.

Move on, move on,
For it won’t be long
He that promised will come.
Again I say, move on.

When sin towers over you like a giant,
With the sword so sharp and mighty,
Give a deadly swing at the neck -
The sword of the Holy Spirit.

For there is a home down the road
That God has built for the victorious.
Only a mind made to win
Shall enter the land so Holy and clean.

Move on, move on,
For it won’t be long
He that promised will come.
Again I say, move on.

Yea, the angels say you can
And the saints cheer you on
For until you get to the other side
Paradise may never be yours.
