The Parable

"My name is Nzira Dzakaipa. I'm looking for a long lost friend called Takura L.G. Kajengo. I last saw him in May 2006.

On the particular day, we were not together and he left a note which read "...I'm going to find my Father...". What confuses me is that his father had died a very long time back.

Those who report seeing him on that particular day, say he was seen walking to a water tank, amid his name being called out; yet no one saw his coming back. They said someone dipped him in the water-tank three times, before the mysterious disappearance.

There's a guy, however, who we see today; he looks just like my old friend. Physically, he looks like him. There's nothing too special to mention on him, he's just like my old weak friend. Yet what he says these days is not in anyway in line with how he looks. It seems he has a power that drives me away, something that propels him to glory."

The Teaching:
To be found in God is to be lost in the world. Let us leave the sinful ways and God will show His mighty works through us. Get in a good bible based church and be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. And all will be well for you!

The story here tells us to repent and repent for good. This is the life of one who goes to heaven. like the one looking for a lost friend, Nzira Dzakaipa (literally translated to sin in English) here, is confused over where Takura is. Of course, before baptism, he was seen by many. But because baptism is a rebirth, they no longer saw him as in the old days, he was a new creature all together.

We ought to do the same. Be changed for good and do not let anyone see you in your old wicked ways!
