Resting with my soul
Inspiration waiting to be
known at just the right time
Never knowing when or how
yet praying my ears and heart
will be open when it reveals
the words I am to create
Yet- do I really create them
or is it Jesus who uses
my hand as his pencil
and my words as his song
Waiting- yes waiting
for inspiration for the path
he is asking me to travel
Come Holy Spirit
Come inspiration so
I can be a pencil in the
hand of Jesus
