I Will praise You in the morning
I will add my voice to the creation chorus
Before the noise of men begins…I will seek You
Before the alarms begin to ring…I will look to You
Before the roar of engines fill the air
And schedules fill my time…I will praise You

The sun is rising, calling the earth to worship
Listen: The brook is already singing a song of praise
To the One who drove the waters back
Look: The evergreen with uplifted branches
Reaching for the One who breaks the cedars of Lebanon
With a breath

First one bird…then two…then dozens
All join the song…All the earth shall worship
The world hears the sound of water rushing over rocks
I hear the voices of watery praise
The world sees branches reaching for the sun
I see branches reaching for the SON

Some are in awe of creation and marvel at its workings
I stand in awe of the creator and marvel at HIS workings
And like the evergreen reach up for the One
Who could crush me with His power
But has filled me with it instead

I will praise You in the morning
Before for the sounds of men fills the air
I will worship You
