“Instant Lives”



Blessings to you Dear Friend,



“Instant Lives”



Instant coffee, instant soup, instant smash potato, instant decisions, instant reactions, instant lives…



Everything must be instant and quick now days, the “waiting” or the “be still” period not being thought of or considered everywhere or just does not exist anymore in many places because instant things don’t and cannot wait. And if they would, they would not be called instant…



Life in general just don’t want to slow down or is it rather us who does not bothering to look out for the breaks? Hence waiting and the “be still” part in life is probably still the most challenging for all of us…



Would you consider to picture this….



About 120 people sitting and standing around in the upper room after Jesus Resurrection, men and woman together, confused, struggling with beliefs or disbeliefs, angry or scared and frustrated. All of them are ready to go into 120 different directions but they cannot.

They were Told to stay together and not to leave town.

They were Told to wait and be still.

They were Told that the Holy Spirit will come upon them if they wait.

And it happened…..



Not everything is good what is “instant”…
