A certain saying says, "Blot out as many facts as you like, but keep your thoughts, opinions and perceptions safely resting in your mind!" Although this seems a bit unethical, it limits vain bubbling! This is a strict rule against socialism, yet it avoids unnecessary disputes over vain things. I'll give you an account of my own life!

I grew up a very aggressive young man in terms of opinion conveyance. I had a large pool of facts, yet i did not realize that most of these were my own opinions, only a few if any were of useful substance. I cannot say i was sinful, destructive or rebellious in any way; yet one thing i know i was not constructive!

One preacher once said the trial of the individual is to be like everybody else! I guess that was my trial too. Because it doesn't matter how you try to be like another person; either changing yourself or them, it all is vanity!

In recent years, i find joy in Holy Opinions. These are the little twits that come from the Holy Spirit upon prevailing situations. Rather than wastefully blotting out my thoughts i now find peace in the real facts from heaven. I now find it more real to 'listen' to God, because i give it all the time in my life!

I encourage you to also take this advice. By the way, in the book of James, The Bible tells us to listen more than we speak. Today i look at the years of wasted opinions in my life, and i smile, because i know God has taken a step to rescue His Beloved out of it!
