SCRIPTURE MEMORIZATION
Scripture memorization
Has been a blessing to me
A witnessing tool sharing Christ
When the Holy Spirit leads
So thankful for a pastor
Who challenged us with verse
Encouraged us to memorize
Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse
Became a solid fixture
Written on my heart
Always near for access
Never will depart
When I hear them preached
Time and time again
They are fresh as ever
This freshness never ends
God who is alive
God who is the Word
Gives each day our daily bread
We use it as our Sword
Our "manifesto" if you please
We are called to preach it
Make disciples in this world
And called as well to teach it
A prepatory requirement
One I've often heard
If you want to be used of God
Then memorize the Word!
