Is it Real?

James 2:18 “Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith,
and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works,
and I will show thee my faith by my works.” (KJV)

If God looked at you now, not then
For evidence you’re born again.
What would God now see within
To verify you’re cleansed from sin?

No horrid sin like murder there,
But would the name of Christ you bear?
No blasphemy or witch’s lair,
But no room for God and prayer.

Your worship is a thing long past.
To live for now is on full blast.
With a choice that did not last,
You may find that you’re outcast.

There is more than mere confession
To a faith that has profession.
There must also be possession
Of His life of resurrection.

If one is truly born again.
There’s more that just a shun of sin.
Our love for Christ will not be thin,
Our one desire will be of Him.

James 2:20 “But wilt thou know, O vain man,
that faith without works is dead?” (KJV)
