In this dryness
   and death in my life,
      lies Adam's mess
         heating my strife.
I've hit a wall
   made of my flesh.
The Spirit I call
   while 'gainst the stench.

I find the flow
   of Hope in His word.
My spirit glows
   against my dirge.

All my springs
   are found in You.
My soul must sing
   what is so true.

You are the best
   found here with me.
You are my rest,
   a clearing so free.

You breach the wall
   with Your good flood.
My All in all
   paid with good blood.
You are the water,
   life for our spirits.
God's sons and daughters
   must draw so near it.

Go find the flow
   of Hope in His word.
Our spirits glow
   against our dirge.

All our springs
   are found in You.
Our soul must sing
   what is so true.

You are the best
   found here in us.
You are our rest,
   the clearing that's Jesus!
