The passing of another year
Time to lubricate our gear
To build a future much better
We sure don¡¯t want it to shatter
But do not forget friendship as it¡¯ll fade
Neither put it under a large big shade
You have always given me a lending ear
Blew my troubles away and my head is clear
With you here I have nothing to fear
No sadness, not even a drop of tear
You¡¯re so kind, so sincere
Hope that you¡¯ll always be here
No matter how far apart
You¡¯ll always be in my heart
No matter how weird or silly
A friend of mine you¡¯ll always be
