Isaiah 7:14, 9:6-7

14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel

6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

.. Every good and perfect gift is from the Father above.

James 1:17
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Wishing everyone, readers and writers alike; A MERRY CELEBRATION AS WE FAIL NOT TO FORGET THE ONE WHO IS THE CENTRE OF IT ALL.

In the spirit of giving like our Lord Jesus Christ did because He is the reason for the season; tell the world that it is because he was born that we all can celebrate today.

Choosing a tree, setting up and decorating, shopping for the right present for friends family and colleagues (For whatever reason and even though this supposed love is only shown once in the year!)

Seeking to be like Him in all ways should be the primary focus this season, knowingly or unknowingly, our acts, speech, beliefs and mind-set in a way should always tend towards God’s principles and ideas

He who gave up His Lordship and His life so that we may have life in abundance.

He is the perfect gift from the father's heart to us which we should also extend to our neighbour

He who forsook His majestic Glory to save you and I

He suffered humiliation to protect us from eternal damnation

He endured pain to absorb our future shocks

He was despised and insulted because of what WE DID WRONG!

He became mortal man for a period in time to seal our eternal life in Heaven

Glory be to God in the highest!

He lives and has conquered death and Hades for our sakes, giving us life everlasting, getting us to a position of communion with Him, and reconciling us with the Almighty.

While tucking into your turkeys and all the delicacies of Christmas, do take time to reflect on the one who gave you the grace to be among the living

This is praying that you will be able to receive all the best that Christ has to offer in this yuletide season and into the New Year and beyond.
After all He is the reason for the season.

PEACE...
JOY...
LOVE...
