Practical lessons from the book of Daniel

PURPOSE FOR WRITING

Ever since I started writing, I desired to try writing a book on Daniel. Studying the book of Revelation was very enlightening, but Daniel seemed impossible to understand. Lately I have been living in the book of Daniel and discovered how applicable it is to our everyday work experience. With proper understanding of how God works, the next challenge is to find out how He is using my present work experience to mold me into the servant He wants me to be.

It is not my purpose to engage in the controversial aspects on Daniel. I won’t avoid them but I will give the best answer that I know how to give based on my understanding of them. This is not a book on prophecy but a book on practical christian living in difficult circumstances.

This book will be devotional in nature and will be brief and practical. A secondary title for these messages is “How to do God’s will when you don’t feel like it.” May these brief messages inspire you to be like Daniel. (It’s not easy.)
