A few times a christian life goes through a deep; one tends to want solitude and abstainance from the 'usual'. I like to think that as a form of fasting. There is a regrouping of some sort, such that even though we carry on living in the very places we usually do, it feels like a whole new world we're living in.

The problem comes when we get things tempting us to 'touch'. I remember when Jesus Christ was in the wilderness; Satan asked him to get back to his life several times, tempting him to 'touch' and have a taste of what he usually would have on a normal day. Christ responded by appropriately stating that men shall not live by bread alone.

Fortunately, the good thing is that coming back, without having 'touched', is a big blow to the enemy. Mighty works where done by our Lord after those forty days in the wilderness. Having been tempted to touch, he refrained. So now he was coming back, not to touch again, but to tell his people NOT to touch also. I'm back, only that this time, i am to stop YOU from touching!!!
